How I Got Started

I've loved history for as long as I can remember, or at least since my great-aunt got me a set of history textbooks when I was 5. A strange present for a 5 year old, but I was hooked (read: obsessed).

I even wrote in the Year 6 yearbook, aged 10, that in the future I saw myself 'specialising in British Political History'. Probably why I didn't have any friends.

At that time, I even tried to start my own history blog, similar to this one! But that was lost to the world several years ago and probably for the better.

Hopefully History Blog 2.0 will be more successful!
